Yogic Mindfulness
Gold Coast 2018
In 2018 different aspects of the Yogic Mindfulness program were presented by A. G. Mohan and Indra Mohan across several European locations and three Australian locations.
On Australia's Gold Coast, Paula Carey was honoured to host her teachers for the five-day program Speech Retreat, which was very well-received by dedicated teachers and practitioners from all over Australia as well as from overseas.
The Speech Retreat program focussed on the role of mantras in control of speech and, in turn, control of the mind, and participants were thrilled to learn practices taught directly to Mohan by his legendary guru, Sri. T. Krishnamacharya.

Yogic Mindfulness with
A. G. Mohan and Indra Mohan of Svastha Yoga Ayurveda
Health, happiness and mental tranquillity are goals that we each have in common. This is the state of Sattva and Svastha. Yet, our experience of this state is often elusive. The first step to changing this is to first understand that it is our past actions and thinking that is affecting our present state. Our experiences in life, and our reaction to these experiences, have created patterns of action and thinking that run on auto pilot. These patterns are constantly modified – strengthened or weakened – by our senses of action, senses of knowledge, and our mind - our thoughts and feelings themselves.

However, by consciously introducing new patterns of actions and thinking, we can bring about positive transformation in our physical and mental well-being and move toward living with contentment and tranquillity - happiness. The practice of Yogic Mindfulness gives us the means to bring about this change and with right knowledge and practice we gain more clarity and enthusiasm to help us on our paths.

A. G. Mohan and Indra Mohan, in their signature Yogic Mindfulness programs, provide guidance and experiential training in practices that enable a change in our thoughts and actions. Gaining a clear and applied understanding of Yogic Mindfulness principles will enable you to take control of and guide your own practice.
